Safe, Furnished, Short Term, Emergency Accommodation.
Our Benefit Advisors are dealing with increasing numbers of families who have had their Tax Credits stopped.
We have noticed that a significant portion of these families are being accused of having another, undeclared, person living with them. This information appears to be connected to people who lived in the claimants house prior to them and where mail is still being delivered to.
Can we advise, if someone else's mail is being delivered to your house, please ensure you do the following;
Write on the envelope "no longer at this address, return to sender" and then either give it to your postman, hand it into your nearest Post Office or put it into a postbox.
If you require any further help please contact HMRC Directly
